Irbid, Jordan
Background and Rationale |
The Arab region has made significant progress over the past decade in addressing various challenges and striving to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, there are still significant barriers to fully achieving these goals.
Understanding the progress, challenges, and opportunities in the region is crucial for enhancing cooperation, knowledge exchange, and policy reforms in the post-2025 framework.
The goal of this conference is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the region’s efforts to achieve the SDGs, while examining the path these countries have taken toward sustainable and equitable development.
The conference will focus on evaluating the achievements made by the Arab countries over the past decade, identifying the barriers hindering success, and exploring strategies to accelerate the achievement of the goals in the next decade. This will be accomplished through plenary sessions, country-specific case studies, expert discussions, and workshops.
